My short story "Me, Robot", which was published in The Fiction Desk's fourth anthology "Crying Just Like Anybody", is going to be performed by the Berko Speakeasy - a cabaret of short stories by a group of professional actors! The evening is entertainingly billed as "Robots and Tigers and Ghosts - Oh My!" My story will be performed alongside a tale by EFG Sunday Times Award longlister Toby Litt, a classic from French writer Guy De Maupassant, and a tale of love and tigers from Rajesh Parameswaran. (And, I gather, a couple more surprises...) I'm delighted that they've chosen to feature my story, and for me personally, it will be an entertaining and unique experience to see it come to life. The event will take place at the Kings Arms, Berkhamsted, at 7:30pm, Wednesday 6th March 2013. Tickets cost £10 and can be obtained here. The last one in November 2012 sold out, so hurry... |
