Stories For Homes is a collaborative project between members of the writing community to raise funds for the housing charity Shelter, and to raise awareness about the housing crisis in London and beyond.
Writers were invited to submit stories with the theme of "home". After many weeks of tireless efforts, led by the editorial team of Sally Swingewood and Debi Alper, a book of 62 stories has now been compiled and published. I'm delighted that my story, "Green Door", is amongst them.
It was wonderful to be part of a team effort, where all contributors pitched in with the editing (every writer who submitted was paired up with a fellow writer to work on each others' stories), as well as design, formatting, proofreading, publicity - and everything which goes into making a proper, quality book!
You can buy the finished product for your e-reader here. A paperback book will also be available over the coming weeks - stay tuned for news about the release date.
